AZ-TV PREMIERES LOCALLY PRODUCED DRAMA: THE UNJUST

AZ-TV (KAZT, Channel 27/Cable 13) is proud to announce the January 3 premiere of a gripping drama written, produced and acted by Arizonans.

The Unjust is the story of a group of men who trusted each other with their lives as Special Forces operatives but now as civilians find one man using them to eliminate each other.

The series, which airs Thursday nights at 11PM, is shot entirely in the state of Arizona, featuring familiar local locations and walk-on roles for members of local non-profit charity organizations. All music in the series is provided by local talent. Creators Chris Cox and Russell Clay have produced four full-length independent features and chose AZ-TV because of its status as the state’s only locally-owned television station.

“We believe The Unjust and its creators will be nationally known very soon,” said Michael Hagerty, AZ-TV’s Director of Programming and Promotion. “Until that day, though, we’re thrilled to have the exclusive on this exciting action/drama half-hour and to be able to showcase some extremely talented local people who’ve created an exceptional show.”

More details on the show can be found at www.unjusttv.com

AZ-TV is Arizona’s only locally-owned television station, a division of Londen Media Group. Since its launch in April, 2002, AZ-TV has led the way in classic and contemporary comedy(Reno 911!, Chappelle’s Show, George Lopez, According To Jim, My Wife & Kids, Frasier, Married…With Children, Cheers, The Brady Bunch, The Andy Griffith Show, I Love Lucy and in 2009, Everybody Hates Chris), regional sports and local talk and public affairs programs, reaching more than 1.8 million households over the air, on cable and on DIRECTV and Dish Network satellite, as well as a global audience online at www.arizonasown.com. KAZT-DT 7.2 launches in 2008 with programming from RTN-The Retro Programming Network.
