Since many members of this board have expressed an interest in AZ-TV and it's been a while, I thought I'd bring you up to date. There's a lot to tell.
First...our new website (replacing the original launched in 2002) is up. It's a work in progress, but it's still a giant leap from what we've had. It's at www.arizonasown.com
Second...the ratings continue to grow at a remarkable rate. For the season to date (September 18-December 31, 2006) our primetime average is up 80% over the same period a year ago. The only other gainer among indies and baby nets (in other words, KTVK, My45, CW6 and i51, the old PAX) was i51, which is up 20%.
The demographics are available for the November, 2006 sweeps. A year ago, our best performer scored in 4 out of the 26 demographic categories Nielsen measures. This year, Frasier at 9:30 scored in 18, According To Jim in a total of 21 in the 8PM hour, Frasier at 9PM in 24 and Married...With Children at 6PM in 25. Among women 12-24, Married...With Children is tied for #1 at 6PM with Everybody Loves Raymond on CW6. That ranking is against all 13 stations measured, not just the indies and baby nets.
Finally, we've made some schedule changes as of January 1.
First, Pat McMahon's move to 1PM-4PM on KTAR makes it possible for him to do his 9AM AZ-TV show live again (he had been taping at 7AM each day since returning to KTAR last year).
Happy Days has left AZ-TV after a three-year run. I Love Lucy is on hiatus.
Cheers moved over from KPNX on January 1. It's airing 3 times a day...at 7PM, 7:30 and 10PM...as we re-claim half an hour of what was paid programming. Look for that trend to continue.
The new 3-10:30 lineup:
3:00: DIC Kids' Network (Sabrina's Secret Life/Inspector Gadget's Field Trip/Archie's Weird Mysteries)
3:30: The Andy Griffith Show
4:00: Bewitched
4:30: The Brady Bunch
5:00: My Wife & Kids
5:30: My Wife & Kids
6:00: Married...With Children
6:30: Married...With Children
7:00: Cheers
7:30: Cheers
8:00: According To Jim
8:30: According To Jim
9:00: Frasier

10:00:Cheers
And in September of this year, George Lopez debuts. Thanks again for your encouragement and support.
