No comparison. Pratt consistently out-performed Tim and Willy over the years. He knocked them out of the rock format, and later beat them in country. In fact, he brought KMLE from way back in the pack to knock Tim and Willy off their high horse. And yes, Tim and Willy were out of work for an entire year with no offers so their price naturally dropped dramatically. Unlike Pratt, Tim and Willy were not under contract and not wanted. Tim and Willy were surely a major cost saving move for CBS Phoenix. They most likely cost about one-fifth combined of just Pratt alone, without his crew. Was it worth it? Maybe. Pratt’s salary was ridiculous, but if you buy a cheaper car you get a cheaper product. In terms of making money for their station, Pratt is a Lamborghini complete with the big ego and high maintenance! I hear he is a nice guy in general but demanding as a performer. Still, results matter and regardless of low ratings or high ratings, Pratt consistently rings the cash register. Love him or hate him, he is a money making machine. However, Tim and Willy are closer to a Toyota Corolla. Low maintenance, low cost and low performance. And if he keeps using Pratt’s stuff like KMLE Nation, etc., maybe he should change his name to Tim PRATTRICK.
