Azteca America now on 35 and 39

As the title of the thread says, it seems that Azteca America is now broadcasting terrestrially in the NYC area on both 35 and 39 UHF. Not sure if this is a permanent change but it must have occurred in the past day or two. This I'm guessing is to increase coverage, as 39 did not cover the entire area.

In recent weeks before the switch, Channel 35 was showing what seemed to be a nonstop loop of "The New Yorkers" with really, really terrible picture quality, and sometimes without any audio.

Uh oh does this mean another must carry for Crappyvision?? We just got stuck with this religious channel run by a dead man about a year ago. What will they move for this wonderful channel which people I would imagine can get on digital anyway

Well, it's been on Dish Network for several months now (as has the religious station with the dead man, hahaha), so I wouldn't be surprised if they're going for must-carry status on all systems. I've noticed that now Azteca is also on 26 and 32 as well. It seems Metro Broadcasting sold/leased out all the LPTV's to them.
