Could be losing another Dance Friendly top 40. The ratings just arent too HOT. Aside from being Dance Friendly, It isnt really a very well programed CHR.

Well Midwest, like myself, you've seen the discussion off an on about this station on the Indiana board, and the owners have pretty much gotten in return what they've put into the station - almost zilch-o. The discouraging thing is that even if they were to invest a whole lot more to make it sound good, I don't know if they'd be able to see enough success to make that investment worthwhile. The rhythmic and AC stations are very dominant in Ft Wayne, so it's been tough to see the various mainstream CHR's struggle there like they have in recent years. I think it needs to be executed better, like their sister CHR counterpart in South Bend, but of course they have to keep the costs low... it's hard to fathom them spending even less than what they are now, though. I wouldn't give up on the B yet, but it doesn't look too positive for the time being.

Which one? Energy 102.9, or Z102.3.....Can you imagine this..Both stations were on the air at the same time, right next to each other on the dial. It was weird hearing the 4 on 4 beat on two neighboring frequencies, in a cow city.

It was 102.9

I've always had family that lived in Fort Wayne and my father-in-law was born and raised there. FW always had a positive feel to it. I think having many people coming through from Indy, Detroit, and Ontario really helped.

I always like visiting FW.
