B 96 Noon Ka-Boom!!!

Has anyone heard it? I believe it started Thursday October 1st. A quick mix flashback of all 90s Killer Bee and Party Radio songs. And it is all-dance so far. I loved every second of it. You just don't hear those great party songs anymore. They for once dug in the crates and played songs you almost forgot made them who they are today.

It totally gets you pumped during the midday. Smart move by B 96 I think. Thoughts and comments?

I think it is only airing weekdays at 12 noon. I wish they would make MP3's of these mixes. It would be an excellent idea!

I guess it would be great if they had downloads like Movin 99.7 did.. but Movin stopped that style of mixes at noon sometime in July. I'm kind of disappointed about it.. but not as disappointed as when KYLD stopped doing it first.

Im listening right now,,, I love noon oldschool shows that mix Dance/RAP and Freestyle all together... I wish Wnou hadnt dropped their mixshow and went to full length songs, all request,,,, used to sound just like this........ Power 96 in miami should do this too.

Today they mixed Dr. Alban "It's My Life" Now name another station in this country that would have the guts to air a song like that again!?
How about Technotronic "Rockin' The Beat"?

I love how they are not playing the same old 90's old school and are digging in the crates and thinking outside the box a little bit. Kudos to a major radio station like B 96 for being daring and getting outside their comfort zone. I am sure as more and more people find about about this, the buzz will be huge.

I heard DR Alban today and thought WOW,,, they really do remember their roots....... This is why people in teir late 20s to 40 still say b-96 is a dance station.. maybe it can be again someday if this uptempo electro pop songs keep popping up.
