Unfortunately, they are just playing a song that is very popular right now, and it just happens to be a dance song. But I agree, they need a shot in the arm, and more dance music would help greatly!

Yes, Rhythmic format, in my opinion, is Hip Hop, R&B, Dance, and Rhythm-based Pop (Justin Timberlake-Rock Your Body, Gwen-Hollaback Girl, etc.). Urban is strictly Hip Hop and R&B which is why they can do deeper into those two genres.

B96 even plays rock if its popular enough. They had Green Day - Boulevard Of Broken Dreams in rotation earlier this year.<P ID="signature">______________
