Word is out that due to their woeful financial situation, Clear Channel's long-running B'JAM event will not happen this year. Although the event has been dumbed down the last few years it still happened and was a signature event.....very sad indeed.

BJam canceled? Thank heavens!
For the last 2 years, BJam has happened in Oswego. Well, I live in Oswego, and, unfortunatly, the rest of my family like country music. (Ug!) So, I went to the last 2 BJams that were held, and I was not impressed. There were a lot of non-signature acts there. All the personalities of WBBS seemed to worship Ron and Becky. And, well, it all just seemed like a big festival to honor the Magnificent B104.7, and, in some respects, the "Amazing" (Ron B's words, not mine) Joel Delmonico. I hated it it. I'm glad it's gone... at least, for this year.

Yeah, it seems like Clear Channel is getting cheaper, and cheaper. Oh, and there's one Joel Del Monico moment and, well, Cookie Channel moment you forgot.
11. Fired 5 employees at the behest of San Antonio without batting an eye, and said: "We'll be fine without them." Oh, really? Well, just look at the poor, overworked Rachel Merisay! Yeah, you'll be fine allright...I mean, doesn't Rachel voicetrack, like, 15 stations? And, 4 are in Syracuse. She makes people believe she can be in 2 places at once, and, even goes by the name Gabby Night. But, ever wonder why she wasn't at BJam last year? Well, I didn't think she wanted her real identity to be exposed. Trust me, if I'd have seen her, even though she went by the name Gabby for BBS, I would've walked up to her, and been like, "Hi Rachel..." It's too bad that I'm totally blind. I would love to be able to see her facial expression if I were able to do that.
Just write Cookie Channel Syracuse, and Joel Delmonico off as one cheap disaster.
