a christmas music survey come on its october 22nd

they better not go november 1st there will be alot of angry listeners

i just dont feel they have a need to do this anymore not unless another station does a surprise flip to christmas music

Last few years they have flipped around the same time. I believe the weekend before Thanksgiving. I don't see that changing, unless a major player does a surprise Christmas flip.
 
Last few years they have flipped ON I believe Thanksgiving Week on HD-1 But around I believe November 1st they had all Christmas music on there HD-2 and so did WOGL and 97.5 was The Fanatic on HD-1 and Now 97.5 as all Christmas music on HD-2

I am sure it was after 97.5 did.. If a station would put it on there HD-1 right now B101 would do the same lol.. B101 is nothing but a Copycat!! I stay with who ever does it first so that is NOW 97.5!!! Till someone puts another one on there HD-1 I think this year someone will try and beat B101 to it I think WYSP or WISX
 
And we still don't know if WOGL is going to put a Christmas format on their HD-2 channel (a.k.a. "I Love The 70's") like they did last year...

What is their format? Hot AC? Rock? Classic hits? Musically they are all over the place. I heard Pat Benatar's "Hit me with your best shot" on there the other night.
 
B101 is straight up AC and they (obviously) do a good job at it. It's more of an old-school AC, unlike Lite-FM in NY or Fresh FM in NY or DC which are a little more rhythmic and current.

MY106.1 is the AC musical clusterf*ck right now. They played Usher - DJ Got Us Fallin In Love today. Again, it would be fine if they would just be a true Rhythmic AC, but playing that alongside some stale 80s soft rock sounds horrible. That's why their TSL is awful.

They just did a soft rock imager and then went right into 867-5309 (Jenny, Jenny) by Tommy Tutone. Hardly Soft rock by any standard!
 
ac stations everywhere are messing with listeners minds

so im guessing none of them will be going all christmas until 12/1/10

Eh, that is these days. Most AC stations these days are even playing Lady Gaga.
