B101: An Excellent Station

I think B101 is one of the best adult contemporary radio stations around. They play lots a great music, they have a pretty good variety, the jocks are good, they have creative contests, and some good features. I like the 70s Weekend for the Summer. Overall, the station does a great job performing. Hats off to B101!<P ID="signature">______________

I would concur.When you remember who their target is...Adult women and moms and their kids, it doesn't get much better than the B. These also rans like Sunny just don't get it. And when the dust settles a year from now, this station will not have been turned into BEN-gay. Or Hi-JACKED in the ratings if you prefer.

I went on a business trip to Philadelphia last November and the office I had to be in for a few days had B101 on. They executed the format very well and I was in Philadelphia when the station went all Christmas. I agree with you, Kevin, about B101 being a really great station!<P ID="signature">______________

you must be kidding. they only have a 70s so they can compete with Sunny. they're merely a very REACTIVE station, which is better than MAX/MIXBEN reacting six months too late. But they're lucky there are not much in the way of proactive stations in this market.

Which is smart of them, because I can just stick with B for 70s also.
