So B101 jumped the gun and flipped to Christmas this afternoon. The regular format was still on earlier in the afternoon. When I turned it back on at 4, they were playing Christmas songs. This is the earliest B101 has flipped. I guess next season they'll flip on Halloween. In a way, I'm not surprised. Yesterday afternoon in the 3 o'clock hour, Q102 played the vastly overplayed Mariah Carey song, "All I want for Christmas is You." I guess B101 panicked. I don't know about anyone else, but I am in no way ready for Christmas. Not even thinking about it. Besides, the weather hasn't changed yet. It's still FALL!!

B101 flips to Christmas

Doubtful they panicked over one song on Q.
This is the same day they went all Christmas last year on B101. The Thursday before thanksgiving.. they switched over today at 3pm. Q102 had nothing to do with it LOL

As stated above, WJBR started theirs yesterday, too, but I don't know which one actually went first this year. Maybe for once they went at the same time.
As for the all-time earliest, Sunny went on Nov 4th in 2005, but even that was eclipsed by Now 97.5 on Halloween two years ago.
This definitely is NOT the earliest B has flipped. I clearly remember one year it happening on November 11th. It sticks out in my head because I remember it was Veterans Day. It was probably in 2003, just like the other guy who says Nov. 12. I agree with you, but I think it was the 11th that year.
