B929 - Patterson, CA

I think I got a tropo or something

I was walking down the hill to my house...I got B929 they were playing Firework by Katy Perry

I thought Froggy 92.9 flipped..Going to try it again tomorrow..I'm in Vallejo, CA...I think 90 miles

Twice I didn't have my Camera with me, Well I didn't know...

I wake up most mornings with a tropo (or something).
On a more serious note I found that there are a lot of days where the FM's get out another 50% or so. All of the sudden the stronger stations on Cape Cod come in here in Central Mass or about 90 mi.
Tropo lite?

Summer tropo usually enhances the coastal stations. In New Jersey, most of the 50000 watt stations from Atlantic City have a strong signal for 100 miles most summer nights.

Is this the former 93.1? Which, IIRC, moved to 92.9 to allow Clear Channel's Sacramento market move-in, now KHLX/93.1 Pollock Pines.

Yes it is, When KOSO was 93.1 located at Mt Oso, I could receive it in Clovis CA, when they downgraded to 92.9 it is blocked by KFSO from Visalia which is at Eshom Point with 17k ERP 5200 ft in Elevation.
