B94 airstaff

I thought Cahill came from Atlanta or Florida, I worked at the same station as his wife did on weekends and I thought I recalled them coming from somewhere south... but that was a long time ago, maybe 1988-90 or something like that?

The only reason I remember that is because she came in one day all upset because she got a ticket for having window tint on her car. Of course everyone has it in Florida, but it was illegal in PA back then.

Clarke, you have an amazing memory. Even though I was there, I couldn't have remembered all of that info!., BTW, Robin Banks (AKA Chris Corvello) was PD of Classic Rock KZPS here in DFW for a while which allowed us to reconnect. She gave me my first paying radio job in 1980 at WQTW/Latrobe, during which time, Clarke was asked to consult. Anyway, Chris was the PD and her father (Nick) was the owner. BTW, Chris was recently married!!! She is also a rabid Steeler fan, having traveled to DFW from West Palm just to see the Steelers play the Cowboys.
Back to B94.......it was 'Junior' who trained me. I was so nervous and green, but he couldn't have been nicer. We were doing the "$10,000 Music Guarantee" and I was sure I would blow it! Then, they'd have to pay the ten grand and that would be the end of me (lol). I really liked working there during that time!! I also got to 'train' one of my radio idols, Jim Quinn. Oh, 'Tom Murphy', who was a part timer at the same time I was, is, of course, now 'Jagger' and he's doing mornings locally at CC's 102-9 NOW, Hot AC. Whew! I'm tired!!

How in the world did I forget Tom Murphy?

And here's another big omission: Patti Steele, the then ex-wife of Banana Don and future Mrs. Steve
Kingston.

Yeah! It was real interesting around there for a while (lol) ;D
Also, are we forgetting the rather short, but tumultuous late night reign of TK Tom Kent?
I know what he's doing these days, but...Troy Garrett? Kinda fell off the face....We were buds and I'd
like to get back in touch.

I know I mentioned Tom Kent in there somewhere, because I replaced him. Troy Garrett worked for
me briefly at 104.7 when it was Jammin' Oldies. I was supposed to have lunch with him a few years
later, but he called off. Haven't heard a word from him since.

Sorry to revive an old thread....Troy Garrett stuck around until the late 90's while pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. Last I heard he was with the Edgemont Police and then he moved onto the Allegheny County Sherriff's office. He and I were in touch a lot in the late 80's/90's but we lost contact after that. (Troy...PM me if you read this...we had a common friend Teresa). Always a real nice guy and good person to hang with and talk to. Glad to see he found a life he wanted outside of broadcasting.

Was the Robin Banks who worked in Pittsburgh also the Robin Banks who worked at JET-FM in Erie, circa 1989-1990?
