B94 Announcer in the mid 1990s

My second question for the day: Would any of you happen to know the name of the B94 announcer in the mid 1990s? I knew he wasn't a local fellow and did the announcer for a few other stations in the United States. And I did hear a rumor he passed away at a young age a few years back from pneumonia. Any guesses?

Thanks. I listened to his demo tape on the website, and evidently he did some voice over work in the early days of Kiss-FM. I wonder if that overlapped with his voice work on the first incarnation of B94.

Um......I think there is some confusion jbo. Was this Brian James a B94 (Pittsburgh) voice over too? I recognize his voice, but not from B94. Keith Eubanks was the guy I was looking for as the B94 voice in the 1990s.

Yes. I'm not sure of the time line, but Brian was the production director and "voice" of B-94, at least through the early 90's.

Oh, perhaps he was before the Keith Eubanks era which was late 1990s. One of the last voice overs they had before the station sounded a lot like Keith, but wasn't. I suppose its part of the business, people won't know your name or what you look like, but they will recognize your voice ages to come.

Brian was gone when I started there in '92. The production director's name was Dave. Can't remember his last name right now. It'll come to me.
