B94 Pittsburgh is flipping formats.

From what I've heard from the Pittsburgh board, CBS Radio's B94 in Pittsburgh will flip on Feburary 15th to a sports talk format, which means B94 is leaving the airwaves for the 2nd time. The station is currently jockless and just playing music until the flip occurs. Their sister station Star 100.7 will play both Hot AC/Top 40 hits. Does this mean 96.1 Kiss has no competition?

No it means CBS Radio irritates the hell out of me.

But seriously, I'm guessing Star 100.7 will be more of a Mainstream CHR without the rhythmic lean B94 has.

Both of you are right, WZPT will remain Adult Top 40. Only time will tell before we see Star 100.7 have any impact on WKST, who BTW is trying to fill the R&B/Hip-Hop void left open by WAMO and still be a Top 40/CHR at the same time.

I think people should learn to like kiss fm in pittsburgh because that a real top 40 I think rythem top 40 are the best not rock top40 unless if they had a lot of dance then it not too bad good beat I think people that like rock should turn on a hot Ac or rock station
