Haven't seen anything on here about it, but it's been all over a MN/Midwest media message board and on various trades...
KTTB 96.3 applied a while back to downgrade from 100kW from their stick from Watertown (west of the metro) to 24kW in St. Louis Park (MSP suburb), and change the COL from Glencoe to Edina (where the studios are located), which would give KTTB a city-grade signal to much of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro. KGLB (formerly KRBI) in St. Peter has applied to move to Glencoe to maintain "local service".
There's some opposition including a salesperson for CC's K102 (KEEY), who resides in St. Louis Park. B96 has beat KDWB in key demos in the past despite a weak signal that bleeds west (St. Paul and the eastern 'burbs are outside the 60dbu protected contour), but if they do move it, will benefit KCLD in St. Cloud. CC had a CP for a predatory translator at 96.3 in Cottage Grove (eastern suburb), which expired.
KTTB's current approx. coverage: http://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=KTTB&service=FM&status=L&hours=U (red line is 60dbu)
KTTB's proposed 60dbu coverage: http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/FMTV-service-area?x=FM1247203.html
Pohland has money for everything except for a Twins stadium. ;D
