OK, i'm rembering being in chicago every summer in the 90s and listening to B96 when they would blow up the airwaves mixing stuff like:

LA BOUCHE

LIDELL TOWNSELL....NU...NU

Crystal Waters - Gypsy Woman
Cathy Dennis - Touch Me (All Nite Long)

Black Box - Strike It Up
Black Box - Everybody Everybody
Londonbeat - I've Been Thinkin' About You
La Tour - Blue
C&C Music Factory - Gonna Make You Sweat
Lisa Stansfield - This Is the Right Time
THE KLF - 3am Eternal

IT'S A SHAME TO HEAR B96 NOW AND ALL THIER HIP HOP OVERFLOW :( :( LEAVE MOST OF THE HIP HOP SLOP TO GCI AND POWER. B96 WAS A CLASSIC HOUSE/DANCE AND R&B STATION. THEY WOULD DO BETTER IN THE RATINGS IF THEY INCLUDED MORE MIXING AS WELL AS SOME HIP HOP HITS.!!!!

BRING BACK THE OLD B96 AND WHYT 96.3 IN DETROIT WERE THE BEST EVER BACK IN THE DAY

It's playing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, just like Cyber Radio on 1CLUB.FM's and WBMX.COM's 90s Dance Hits channel.

Almost no one has HD radio.

Who said anything about HD radio? Those are internet streams, if I am not mistaken.

WBBM-HD2 is a useless automated jukebox of current dance hits.

Yes they are and thousands a people a day listen in their cars. Here's even better news.

The official announcement by the country's third largest auto-maker is expected tomorrow, when it will unveil its "UConnect Web" feature, to be available in all 2009 models as a dealer installed option. The wireless access will be a direct to dashboard tool, allowing drivers to access the Internet, e-mail, and download movies and music direct to your vehicles entertainment system. This has caused some concern among safety groups who question if it's a good idea to have drivers even more distracted, as cited by a report in the Los Angeles Times. Broadcast radio may also develop concerns as it will now have to compete with more choices on the virtual "WiFi dial". Chrysler is the first automaker in the U.S. to include the wireless technology. It's facing an up-hill battle, having had the "worst drop in the industry" this year in auto sales. The company is down 19.3% thus far, according to the Times story.

And do we have news about this coming in August!

Would it be fair to say that HD Radio in general is useless? :(
