B98.5 adds an evening/weekend personality

And, here's the end to that odd three hour time frame of a no-DJ B98.5. Cox has hired yet another female DJ, named Amy LeBlanc (I think) for 7-10pm, and weekends.

Finally. With Chris Eagan there, you knew it was coming. Except for Kelly Stevens, B98.5 has an all-female air staff.

My question is this...what is their motivation for making it all-female? I've always seen AC stations attempt to make is about even female/male, because their target demo liked the voices of both sexes.

It is unusual. Maybe Eagan just selects the people he feels are the best, whether male or female. Or maybe going mostly female is intentional. So far, he's had a lot of ratings success so I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.

By the way, Eagan himself is on air on weekend mornings so they do have another male personality.

not sure why all female, I personally don't like females on in the afternoon, hopefully someday soon they will put a male there, didn't realize Chris Eagan was on on the weekends that is good to know as I enjoy listening to him, maybe someday he'll put himself back on the afternoon shift

That would be Cami LeBlanc formerly traffic on 104.7 The Fish

That's good,I wish all stations would go back to being live and local most of the time, even if they were syndicating, the still had someone cut in to do local news, weather or traffic.
