B98.5 is Teasing Us

I was happily listening along to B98.5's Whatever Weekend when I heard it. "B98.5, Atlanta's best variety of soft rock and proud to be the new home of . . . . WHATEVER, with the Whatever Weekend."

I am glad to report that Mark Kanov is resting comfortably. His heart skipped a few beats after the word "of."
 
Not so...Fulton County Court records indicate that Mark Kanov has copyrighted the word "Whatever." He is trying to get a TRO in place so B98.5 is enjoined from using that phrase. In a related sory...Steve Duane Barnes has sued Mark Kanov for suing B98.5. According to court documents, Steven Duane Barnes alleges that Kanov is "ripping off my schtick."
