B98.5 ... Wow!

Hey I was like driving around today ... in my car .... and I punched up B98.5 FM on my radio. Kelly McCoy was reading the weather forecast: I knew it! I knew there would be weather! And another 52 minute music hour, wow!

Damn it. I thought they played Rihanna or became a hit music station or something.

My mistake on one thing, B98.5 has 50 minute music hours. 97.1 The River plays 52 minutes of music. I think Jordan Graye and Kate McCarthy must have the same aircheck coach, therefore I sometimes get B and River confused.

Have you heard about the 98 at 9?

No, but I just tuned my radio to B98.5 FM and they were in the middle of "ninety-eight minutes of music" that they play "every weekday morning at nine"! Wow! I could kick myself for not having tuned in when it started, I'm just thinking of all the great songs I missed!

You really like B98.5 FM regardless if its a 50 minute music hour, 52 minute music hour, or a 55.985 rounded to the thousandth digit minute music hour. I am happy for you. ;)

It's a great way to start your workday.

So then we have the results tabulated and B98.5 has been voted #1 for the 98 at 9, Kelly doing the weather, the 50 minute music hours and/or the 52 minute music hours, Jordon's coaching and giving gertie wet drawers! Bob must be SO proud.

And Daughtry! Don't forget Daughtry!!

I guess B has reached it's pinnacle! Nothing more to do - as they say - "another one saucered and blowed"!

Aren't they still being voted as the #1 station to listen to while at work?

They've been using that for years. The only people voting are the program
director and music director at B98.

...........and we'll also still be hearing this in 2015......
"The all new RIVER, 97.1"

I was listening early yesterday evening and they played a jingle "Atlanta's Best Variety of Soft Rock ... B98.5" right into Billy Idol's "White Wedding". That's because nothing says "soft rock" like Billy Idol's "White Wedding". It's a totally 80s weekend!

Hey y'all I'm heading to Target and Publix to buy some things. But don't worry, I'm taking another B98.5 50-minute music hour with me! I feel sorry for the cashiers because I don't think they're allowed to listen to B98.5 at work. I bet B98.5 is playing in the company break room however, nothing like Atlanta's Best Variety of Soft Rock to brighten everyone's day! I'm just sitting on pins and needles wondering what Jordan is going to say next. Is she going to talk about the 50-minute music hour? The 98 at 9? Or maybe what a great song whatever tune she's playing and maybe how hot it is today and give some kinda feel good tip to make sure I stay safe in the heat!

And I was right! Jordan Graye went into the 1:50 break talking about how it was "98.5 degrees", Kelly McCoy came out of the :50 break with the top of the hour and Kelly talked about "your hot and sticky self".
