BA SMOOTH JAZZ DAMAGE-CONTROL EFFORT GETS A BOOST

Of course, by Carol Archer of R&R, doing an "up" count of the stations being added to BA's roster. In commenting on a new affiliate signing on May 1 she says it brings to 22 the number of fulltime or multi-daypart network affiliates. I'm sure that number would be higher if Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Denver, Washington, D.C., New York, Savannah, Houston, Laconia, NH and Lafayette, LA were still around for them to pitch to get more coverage. Maybe this is seen as "starting over" for BA. Can't wait to find out who #23 is. Granted we don't lose two more in the next week or so. "That brings to...huh-oh...20, the number of fulltime or multi-daypart network affiliates." ;)
