I can get all Philly AM's. there seems to be some local RF noise that i can't get totaly rid of, so to be safe, I wouldn't ask for much outside of Philly if i were you.

A: slight static: static during quiet passages only
B: some static: statick in background heard at all times
C: Lots of static when in stereo: indecates that stereo reception has lots of static, and unless you prefer very noisy stereo, a mono feed will serve better
D: Lots of static from HD Ajacent: Do to IBOC's digital stream, some stations received have lots of static in the background. this is due to the sideband of the digital stream, on the ajacent channel, which sounds like a noisy Hiss on an anolog receiver. (Example, 98.3 has static from 98.1 which is broadcasting a digital signal on both 98.3 and 97.9, which means that on 98.3 on an anolog receiver, you can hear a static like hiss sound in the background of WMGQ, and no amount of turning the antenna will get rid of it. 98.1 would have to stop broadcasting the digital feed in order for 98.3 to have a clear signal.) These stations are static weather in stereo or mono, and switching to mono doesn't make much difference. I can receive these stations, but you're better off going to a different trader for better stereo reception if possible.
