Back in The Days When I Was Young (I'm Not a Kid Anymore)

I remember back in the days when I was fairly new here on the boards, back around the time when people still considered me a "kid" because I only had a few posts in comparison to others, I used to make (mostly CHR format) radio predictions. I used to make accurate predictions, such as the new 101.5 KZON eventually becoming the top CHR station in Phoenix within a few years (which they did achieve about a year and a half or two later). I also predicted things such as dance music making a big come back, and doing so mainly through CHR, I unknowingly suggested and predicted that Tucson (and other specific places throughout the U.S. should) get a top 40 station days before it happened publicly, and predicted / suggested a number of other things before I disappeared and made a come back like socks & flip flops.

While most of my suggestions and predictions of the past eventually unfolded on the radio stations I suggested and predicted them to, I did mention that ONE of my predictions (about Classic Hip Hop Stations being the next big thing to pop up) turned out to be wrong.

Turns out I was wrong about being wrong and now that makes me right! (Who says two wrongs don't make a right?!?)

It took a couple of years or so, but I can now say that ALL my previous radio suggestions and predictions have come true! ...And I might as well mention it since I started it. Classic hip hop stations are now beginning to pop up in various places around the U.S., therefore (finally) making all my past predictions accurate.

I guess Phoenix was ahead of the times for a while now, but I do kind of wonder if the bigger company (or companies) that are popping up classic hip hop stations will someday look at Phoenix and think of purchasing 101.1 The Beat.
