Greetings all!
I'm back into the trading mood again, having taken an extended break. Unfortunately, due to not having broadband, I'm not much good for uploading airchecks, but still will do trades on tape and CD.
I will in the future look at selling part of my collection. I'd welcome opinons on this. Not selling copies, but originals. I bought someone else's collection and only wish to keep a small percentage of the tapes that have personal value. They're all originals, and I thought perhaps someone might want to buy them in batches organized by region or such. I know this is a trading board and selling airchecks is looked on often negatively, but I figure selling the originals to someone who could value them is a different issue than selling copies.
I'm also welcoming new trades. My interest at this point has moved beyond just collecting some of everything, and collecting specific types of music I'm interested in. I'm also interested in pretty much every format outside of the US - UK, European, Pacific and Canada. Formats of interest: AAA, Alternative, Americana, Dance, Modern AC, Classic Soul, true Oldies stations (not the "superhits" types,) small-market, locally originated stations and the seemingly elusive college and high school stations. Also interested in stations that mix country with any format (ala Rockin' Country stations.)
I have over 2000 tapes so if you're looking for something, just ask. Look forward to making new trading contacts and renewing old ones!
