Does anyone have any simple (and cheap) favorites? I need to stream a decent quality stereo signal from one computer to another via the Public Internet.
I found a software package last year that allows you to stream audio across a network - can't remember if it works across the net or not. Could be worth a look.
This isn't really a 'cheap' alternative, but it worked well to keep us on the air. We used a TieLine unit (connected over landline) with one unit at the studio and the other unit plugged directly into the exciter. We got about a 28kHz sampling rate for a few days while our STL was down.
