Wouldn't you be better off with a roof antenna in Brattleboro? I would imagine that the hills of the Connecticut River Valley (Monadnocks?) would limit reception.
Northern Maine has 2 locals -- CBS on DT and HD, Fox on DT only -- along with PBS. Cable in border towns imports Bangor locals and/or Fox 23 from Portland to fill in the gaps.
Border-town cable also imports Canadian OTA nets. Calais and Houlton get CBC New Brunswick and CTV Atlantic. Caribou and Presque Isle get CBC New Brunswick and Radio-Canada Maritimes. Madawaska gets CBC New Brunswick, Radio-Canada Maritimes and TVA from Rivière-du-Loup.
