Wheeeeee.....spin the wheel of Backyard folks. Turnover is always high at a station, but it seems the Backyard merry-go-round tosses people off more than most.
Amy is a talented person and hope she can pull a team together. Not a job I'd take on a bet, though... This past 12 months has already seen changes in sales, news, talent, and on-air programming. Advertisers are not real responsive to lots of random changes....
Here's a humorous anecdote: Backyard operates a "pedestrian" Country music station in Olean, NY [where I first discovered radio as a toddler].
The calls are WPIG, and [yes] – they proudly-promote themselves as "The PIG"!
