backyard broadcasting 93.5 96.7

looks like they changed the calls from WHTY/WHTI to WMXQ/WMQX

odd thing both still seem to be rock but radio-locator is showing
93.5 WMXQ as 80s rock
http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/info?call=WMXQ&service=FM
interesting thing in that is
WMXQ-FM 93.5 MHz
Hartford City, Indiana
"102.9 the Point"

Website:
Websitehttp://www.1029i.com/

and for 96.7 its showing WMQX as country
http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/info?call=WMQX&service=FM

WMQX-FM 96.7 MHz
Alexandria, Indiana
"93.1 The Wolf"
Website:
Websitehttp://www.931wolfcountry.com/

strange i say, so whats going on up here....

Radio-Locator simply hasn't updated formats. WMXQ used to be Jacksonville's 102.9 The Point, an 80's station. It became modern rock WXXJ in February. WMQX was the former callsign of 93.1 in Greensboro/Winston-Salem, which flipped to country as "The Wolf" and, eventually, jettisoned the calls. Radio-Locator ties information to calls, and it doesn't purge the information when a call letter change occurs. So, you have old information at Radio-Locator right after a call letter change occurs.
