BACKYARD BROADCASTING DIVESTS JACKSON

I don't mean any disrespect but I find it funny that some of you are hoping EMF will do this and do that with the stations. I hate to tell you but they won't be adding anything but K-Love and/or Air1. That's all they do. Sorry to disappoint.

I'm betting EMF's plans are for a Hot CHR. And, Bruce Puce in the morning.

(And, the kids say, "huh?")

I must be getting old, cause I picked up on that joke immediately. ;D

I'm pretty sure these folks are just having a little fun with the posts... at least I hope so!

These post keep getting funnier. The Bruce Pooce reference made me laugh. Only a 94TYX listener would have gotten that.

The latest rumor surprises me, frankly. Stunting. All Chanukah carols. Starting the day after Thanksgiving on 94.7. All Kwanzaa on 93.9.

Bold.

Spin that dradle, y'all.

Its a sad day in radio..We lost 94 TYX years ago..but now to put KLOVE on the station. Radio truely is dead .....I will miss you Jack FM when I roll thru Jackson..RIP...

I wouldn't be against free-form radio, but I don't see it happening. Makes too much sense.

I see some form of rock happening on 100.9. Jack might be the more successful of the two former Backyard stations, but their music is already covered on other stations. You can hear the Black Eyed Peas and Maroon 5 on Mix 98.7 and Y101, and Credence Clearwater Revival on Z106.7. Unless Z or some other station makes a sudden move, no one else will play the new Metallica or Avenge Sevenfold when it's released.
