Wednesday afternoon we heard a Lawerence Welk Reunion commercial during the Randy Rhodes show on Air Amerika 14~eighty! Guess those Sun City listeners are drinkin' the George Soros flavored Kool-Aid ;)

There must be something wrong with the radio in my rice burner (that's what I get for passing on the Gremlin for sale on Cars.com). I can hear 1100 KFNX just fine...great reception. But when I try to tune in 1480, all I get is static! Were it not for your post, I might have missed out on the Lawrence Welk Reunion Tour!

Now where did I put that cup of George Soros flavored kool-aid.... ???
 
That's one of the advantages of having the Media Hut in Buckeye...we get the mighty 14~eighty, day and night! Unfortunately due to weak bladders, Nurse Jeff and I can only consume about 15 minutes worth of George Soros Air Amerika KOOL-Aid a day. Anything more would cause the Aqua Fria to overflow :eek:

Heard John Hook in for The Young-ster with Michele for a very short bit this AM. They continued where they left off a week ago...Hook talking about taking the twins to Legoland. What is with the "insider" conversations? Are we supposed to be interested in personal stories because these folks on the mike are "celeb's?" If the story were illustrative of a universal experience or an anecdote intended to pump us up to call in, fine, but it sounded like just a story just to fill air.

I'd have preferred to hear the North Dakotan play his accordian...
 
...and that would be Myron Floren (ah thank u boys..wunnerful, wunnerful) but he's playing the accordian six feet under :( Airchic..where ya been? Nothing but inside stuff between 8-10am on the Nearly Famous One's shift. And it doesn't matter if he's there or not, the guest host must converse with Michelle Larson. It's lock in the format book! Nurse Jeff and I think it sucks..but as long as KT'R sucks more, who cares? What's more outrageous is the Chickboss' decision to give both the Nearly Bald One AND El Evil Libre two weeks off AT THE SAME TIME! ??? Obviously she has not read our brilliant post (see Pulse Detected) and is walking into the trap The Men In Secret Underwear have set. ;) All it takes is one down book for KFYI and one up book for KT'R and someone will come to their senses at the ol fifty-five feenix, Kay-Oh-Why!
 
Damn, I forgot to do a "Predict the McBland group" contest today.

I think Pat was talking about this new fad everyone is doing, buying computers and communicating on an inter-net sort of thing. Pat's always caught up with what all the groovy hep-cats are doing these days.
