Bad Karma For KKJO?

On Saturday, May 21, the day that Family Radio's Harold Camping declared would be "Judgment Day" or "The Rapture" or "Armageddon" or what have you, KKJO 105.5 in St. Joseph, MO played a 24-hour loop of the R.E.M. song "It's The End Of The World As We Know It (I Feel Fine)":

24 hours later, some 200 miles away in Joplin, MO, this happened:

This would be a funny observation, if 116 people hadn't DIED.

...Yeah, too soon. Sorry. Doesn't tickle my funny bone.

Also, if you know the state, you'd know St. Joe is on the other side of Kansas City from Joplin, in almost the northwest corner of the state. Joplin is so far southwest Missouri, they're almost in Oklahoma.

Camping is a LIAR and a THIEF. There's no place in heaven for vermin like him. His followers are terminally mis-guided. KKJO was generous to give him any attention at all, positive or otherwise.

Please pray for those who have lost family, friends & co-workers in Joplin, and pray for the over 600 who were injured. This isn't over... and Oklahoma may see similar nastiness Tuesday.

Are you trying to be funny? I don't see what one thing has to do with another. It's not like a station in Joplin did this stunt. You're making quite a reach here.

I agree that he's reaching quite-a-bit. Besides, I don't see what happened in Joplin as karma. It's a tornado, plain and simple.

When it comes to what KKJO was doing, they were just playing "The End Of The World" until 6 PM New Zealand time and said they'd quit if the big earthquake Harold Camping talked about didn't happen. It didn't, and they stopped. End of story.
