Bad News for NASCAR Fans

I have had XM radio now for four years and am quite upset that NASCAR is going to SIRIUS next year. This really hurts. I really enjoy my NASCAR on the road with XM...I am for the first time thinking of switching to SIRIUS, someone talk me off the ledge tell me why I should stay with XM.

I didn't choose XM strictly for the NASCAR coverage, so losing it, while it is disappointing, isn't the end (at least for me) I'm more upset than the execs at NASCAR never gave XM a chance for counteroffer Sirius' deal.
But back to the subject....if you really want to spend all the money to buy the new equipment and the activation fee for Sirius, go right ahead. I'll keep my XM and listen to my local MRN station.

Why dont they go with BOTH PLATFORMS??

Because the money they'd get from both combined for a non-exclusive deal wouldn't come close to the money they're getting from Sirius for complete exclusivity. You might as well ask why MLB, the NFL and Howard Stern aren't on both platforms -- the answer's the same: M-O-N-E-Y.
