Hey Gang –Some bad news. The owner of WNTK and WUVR (Bob Vinikoor) has decided
to cancel my show as of next Friday. I am still on 107.7 FM WTPL which has a
great signal from New London to Salem… I encourage you to find me.

While I understand it is Bob Vinikoor’s right to make a business decision, I
want you to know that as a host, and I hope, after all these years as a friend,
I will miss you. Mr. Vinikoor called it a great ride, but for me it was more
than that…we have been together thru 9-11, the preemptive decision to go to war
in Iraq, the acquisition of the NH Republican primary by Craig Benson, the
meteoric rise and fall of Howard Dean, the reelect of George Bush, the
investigations of: Delay-Rove-Abramoff-Libby-Frist-Cunningham, Katrina Failure
writ large and as I leave you, the conservative chaos surrounding Bush’s
nomination of Harriet Meirs. For those of you who listen to me on line thru the
WNTK website, we are in the process of getting a replacement stream …keep
checking the website for information on the new online streaming site.

Thank you so much for listening and I hope we get a chance to reconnect someday.
It was an honor to be part of your life. I will miss you.

Ciao, Arnie

It should be noted she has a call-in show on MyTV (a strange Comcast channel that can be a bit addictive IMHO)

http://www.mytvstation.tv/story.asp?id=58

A little slow for my taste but "everyone" is loving her so I'll give her another chance.

According to radio-locator WTPL has 1250 watts on FM 107.7. I am picking them up in southeastern NH with little static- shocking considering the signal strength and tower location (I should be out of range according to Radio locator). Pretty good sign most of the Granite state should be able to listen no problem.

As for WNTK and WUVR, not sure if they added much to her signal except in Vermont. Isn't there already a Rush Affiliate up there, what are they doing...?

Wake Up, Democracy Radio!

If you guys are lurking on this board...
You are missing an opportunity.

And Arnie, I know you lurk here, maybe you could make some arrangement with the White Rose Society, Live365.com or some Internet audio provider to get your show back online - streaming, on-demand, podcasting, all of the above.

Arnie is very talented...part of a two person talk morning show on the "OLD" WSMN...

and by the way MYTV as mentioned earlier, is actually the new life for WNDS Ch 50!
