WNOW-FM in Charlotte has been showing up in Greensboro ratings. Now WZTK seems to cover most of the area, but WNOW is about to make a change, so WZTK may have done a very good thing.

WNOW was never a local station, neither WZTK. They sound like they are...a Charlotte and a Raleigh stations. For that matter WIST doesn't do any better, it is a Charlotte station and that's the way that people in the Triad perceive them. Just because they have antennas around here, that don't make them local.

Sorry, but I just don't like people that have never set foot into a radio station knowing it all how to run one.. No harm intended! :-*All I said was the station has been showing up in the Greensboro ratings. soon, I am guessing, some people who speak Spanish may not have a radio station. The fact that it is there at all suggests people can pick it up in parts of the Greensboro area.
WTOB might reach some of these people, at least during the day. But there is probably a large area that won't be covered.
