Radioaircheck your wrong as usual. Frank did not have better numbers than the current AMX, and I have all the books back to 2000 to prove it. You are right however that Frank was a great talent. The problem was Franks numbers went into the toilet when 92.1 changed to the Zone for 9 months, the audience had a option. Franks show also suffered from becoming the same show day after day, you could miss a week and not miss anything. He was asked to take guidance and refused so that left The X with no alternative but to look for a replacement. Jon Williams was offered the position but used it as a bargaining chip to get a raise at Clear Channel. The X looked at syndication and was close to signing up Stern and then O & A but then decided to "grow their own" show, it took a couple of years to teach Branden and acquire other role players (Bobbitt,Bailey) but the results have paid off.
