bad situation for once strong FM

Nothing personal Mike, but your music is still all over the map and you and your new guy Doug arn't any younger than previous talent there. So still CHR? makes no sense.

same age as Scott in the morning and we get younger (Jonathan - 20) in the afternoon...

Yes, but you do mid days, that's three older talents for most of the day. Scott has allie to off set him, then jesse, then eric etc.,all younger.

I've been reading the numerous posts and needed to chime in myself. I've lived in
Horseheads pretty much all my life and listening to all the local radio stations has been
a big part. Anyway, I do have to say that at one time 94 was definitely by far the closest
station to sounding like a big market. When Gary Knight was there and from what I've read
was in charge of the music before he left, the sound was second to none. The music was
dead on and fresh. Sounds like he knew his s**t. I've been in markets such as Buffalo,
Rochester and Syracuse listening to top 40 radio and 94 sounded as good or better.
It all went downhill fast when he left. As well, i've listened to a lot of different morning
shows in my day and none were better than when Gary & Mike made up the "Best darn
morning show". It was funny, spontaneous and clever. Some major market shows weren't
as entertaining. I've not heard anything close to that since then or probably never will. My
mornings will never be the same and that goes for A LOT of other people in this market
as well. So I guess I'll just have to do the unthinkable and go by the way of sattelite radio
to hear big time radio again. It's an utter shame that 94 has fallen to the depths of dispair
so quickly for a one time juggernaut.

Recently spoke with Gary Knight, he's doing great in the Carolina's, moved there with his wife. His yet another talent that was unappreciated at WLVY. Glad to hear he's happy and yes I agree, outstanding PD.
