Baka Boys out at The Beat

The executives at Clear Channel Miami must be smoking crack if they think that show is going to be successful in South Florida over "Big Lip Bandit Morning Show" on 99 Jamz. 99 Jamz is whippin' that ass even though they are not the legendary urban station it used to be. Local will always beat syndicated in the urban arena in South Florida (except Tom Joyner) any day. <P ID="signature">______________

You destroyed your whole argument when you admitted the "Tom Joyner" exception. He has laid the foundation for it to be done at the "hip hop" level.

Star & Buc is based on the "Stern" formula, which essentially says: be as outrageous as possible, so that you keep them listening for what your'e gonna say next. How ironic, CC would replace one shock jock show with essentially another (only targeted towards Blacks). Especially considering that Stern was canned for a caller's gratuitous use of the so-called "N word", but I digress...

Star & Buc are the new "Urban" Howard Stern. Look for Big Lip to get hit hard in the summer book. The real battle will take place in the Fall survey though... should be fun to watch, uh I mean LISTEN to.
