I'm so glad someone finally picked up their show again in Phoenix. I was really "supposed" to mention this last week, but I'll just do it now instead. I'm enjoying listening to the Backa Boyz allstar hit mix on KZZP, although I wish they'd put it on Friday Nights, being that they already have a Saturday night mix show. Anyway, nice job Kiss FM with bringing back this show.
I always knew the Baka Boyz for their hip hop master mix, but never knew they started doing the electro house & hip hop show and a hit music show as well. I guess it's just a matter of keeping up with the times and the trends, and having knowledge about what's hot and what direction music is heading in. Hip hop had it's time, especially 1995-2009. I should say 2008, but I'll be generous and just let it go through 2009.
Well, we've got Baka Boyz back on Phoenix radio. Now, I just wish for Hollywood Hamilton's Rhythm Countdown to return as well. I still remember back in 2000 when Amber's "sexual" and La Rissa's "I do both Jay & Jane" were both in that rhythm top 30 at the same time. Glad to see Backa Boyz still doing their thing today.
Anyway, Baka Boyz are sounding good. To me they are legends. I still remember those days back when I was a kid listening to L.A. radio stations in Southern California... good ol' days. Those days were like my little fun factory.
