Just some thought starters...1) I wonder what the mood inside the Buckley complex is as the paradigm shift continues...Groove and KNZR being the focus...KLLY and KSMJ definitely not performing? Perhaps a change in PD is imminent?2) I wonder if Gradowitz is thinking "now is my time" to retire with the passing of Buck?3) I wonder how long AGM can hang on with two 3-share "Jack" stations?4) Has anyone noticed KBKO with more live performances with Ken on the air? I wonder if that is directly a result of Buck's passing and artist's former reverence to the icon?5) Does ANYONE listen to 970? 6) What does it say about KGEO that 970 beats it?Please discuss... ;)
 
1) I wouldn't think anyone at Buckley is worried about anything except 95.3. Anyone noticed the morning show has been a lot of "best of"? KSMJ is new, and I don't know anyone who still listens to KGFM. AC in this town is just not what it could be. The morning guy on KSMJ is raw (anyone else heard him?), and they sound recorded the rest of the day. They will probably consider moving Tesh back to mornings. That could probably beat Dean and Rachel.2) I think Gradowitz is just fine. He will probably retire soon, but I am sure he gets paid well, and everyone at KUZZ seems happy.3) I think they will eventually move KGFM closer to what it was. That's a better way to beat KSMJ.4) I have not noticed any more live performances. I know they had Clint Black on. Any word about a co-host for Ken? He's holding his own by himself.5) No. Except for the garden guys on Saturday.6) I would think if the new 96.9 format is something good (Spanish, country?) KGEO could end up being a simulcast.
