Bako Trends

Any thoughts on the recent Bako Trends?

Here are a few of mine:

1. How much longer will CC push country music out of the speakers at KBKO? They didn't seem to make much of a dent in KUZZ. Is Smooth Jazz in their future?
2. Looks like the Breeze is making some serious strides against KGFM. Why is KGFM playing oldies on the weekends?
3. KDFO looked solid as ever.
4. How long before AGM brings in a new PD at KERN? It didn't take long for KNZR to destroy them.
5. Can we all agree that Play is finally dead? Once again your champion is KISV.
6. How much longer before AGM pulls the plug on the failed experiment that is KEBT? Rumor in the hallway is that they won't see the Fall.
7. KRAB looked solid.

Anyone else?

1.)I have never seen such Low Numbers for KUZZ in all demo's Ever! But don't think for a second that KUZZ will go away, they are a well know from here to Nashville!

2.) It's a toss up between these two. My money is on KGFM!

3.) True

4.) Blake Taylor is one of the most talented and forward thinking PD's in the Valley. Don't count them out. They also had a great last month!

5.) Play is GREAT!!! I Hope They Don't Go!!!!

6.) The Beat has a better music selection. You know this is true when you see Groove...which I think is an Old School Station playing Mariah Carey "We Belong Together" which came out in 2005????? They just need more live artist and jocks on the weekend.

7.) Congrats on the new addition to the family Rocky!!!!!

The Groove should mix Today's R&B with the Old Skool stuff.

Even in Latino markets, a UAC can work if it is musically tilted right.
