BAL-CHI Game Delay - What Did You Get?

JeeperOne

Heard the BAL/CHI game on CBS was delayed for two hours because of a storm today. What did those of you in those areas get in lieu of that particular game during that time?

When did it end in relation to where the late games were in action (Had to be somewhere in the 3rd Quarter at least)

Cheers & 73 :)

Initially, CBS put on the New York Jets - Buffalo game but later switched to the Cleveland - Cincinnati game. Periodically there would be a break in the coverage to go to Jim Nantz in Chicago updating the current situation there. The game wound up ending around 5:15 Central.

In Chicago itself, during the delay in the game, WBBM-TV went to local coverage of the severe storms. They went back to football only when the Bears game was about to begin again.

In Phoenix we had "The NFL Today" at 10am, infomercials until the 2pm late game Chargers at Miami so we missed the fun at Soldier's Field.
