Bally Sports AZ Dropping Diamondbacks on June 30

The Coyotes have now released a statement saying they are still under contract with Bally Sports Arizona and hope Bally Sports will continue broadcasting their games.

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA --- The Arizona Coyotes issued the following statement today regarding Bally Sports Arizona.

"We are fully aware of the developments regarding Bally Sports Arizona. The Arizona Coyotes remain under contract with Bally Sports Arizona, and remain hopeful that the network will continue to broadcast our games this season. Nonetheless, we will continue to evaluate all of our options, as needed, and will ensure that our great fans across the Valley are able to watch our games this fall. We will have no further comment until we have news to announce."

TL;DR: "We are waiting to see if Diamond Sports Group shuts down Bally Sports Arizona, and have been talking with other parties just in case."
I don't see Diamond Sports continuing when all this is over, at least not in Arizona. One hockey team that still can't figure out where they're going to play after 2025? Not sustainable.

I wonder how Brad Cesmat feels (his talk show replays used to bookend live play by play sports, but now there are no more sports at this time)?

Not to drag this too deep into arena talk, but city of Phoenix needs to build a combined basketball & hockey building downtown. No matter how many changes/improvements to Footprint Center, the Suns are going complain they are in an old building. Plus the Coyotes will be closer to East Valley fans.

In a radio interview, D-Backs CEO says at 3:45 in as they may look at OTA or hybrid for the future. He also says at 7:30 in that they will talk to OTA partners and see a lot of opportunities OTA for D-Backs that they may incorporate with MLB broadcasts. That is if they are not exclusively broadcast by the MLB and the MLB allows it.
