1982 - 54 WNUV signed on with a Business News format and religious shows from 6 AM to 6 PM and SUbscription TV Super TV after 6

1983 - 54 WNUV began adding some low budget cartoons in the 7 to 8 time slot and in afternoons 4 to 6 and some low budget syndicated shows 5 to 7 PM weekdays

1984 - September - 54 WNUV drops business news and goes to a general entertainment format from 6 AM to 7 PM weekdays and until 3 PM weekends

1986 - January - Channel 24 WJKL modifies mostly religious format to a family general entertainment format

April - 54 WNUV drops Super TV and becomes an entertainment independent station full time
 
I moved to the Baltimore DMA from Delaware Co., PA in April 1985 and remember being fascinated by WNUV's scrambled jingle accompanied by a continuous loop WNUV jingle. "Watch what we're doing now!"
