Baltimore protests

The Fox affiliate in Greensboro, NC has been covering this as "Breaking News" since the last commercial break. The weather is supposed to be on right now.

And the weather just came on.
 
Is it a problem that they covered the weather? Life does go on, and people want to know if it'll be raining tomorrow.

Hate to have to tell you this, but although the coverage of the rioting was not sponsored the riots themselves seem to have been judging from the names of sponsors on most of the protest signs. Disinterested third parties who don't really have a stake in the communities being destroyed. I know that whole area like I know the back of my own hand, and I know the people of that area. They did not tear down their own homes and businesses.
 
So is there anyone out there actually from Baltimore? Are the major affiliates going 24/7 with riot coverage, or just for "breaking news"? How would you rate the stations' coverage?

The problem is that the weather was supposed to be on. I didn't know how long this would last. When the weather was over, they were supposed to air "Roy's Folks". I hate having to watch that online because I have better things to do when I can watch something online--which I can't do at home.

At least "Jeopardy" was on. I've known NBC News to go an extra half hour in these situations. That's why I tape the show on two stations. I just hope I can still do that after the big change coming soon. Supposedly the only change is that I need a box.

Most of the networks covered it wall to wall for a good while, including the local networks and even the old UHF networks, i.e. WBFF. When the professional agitators use smaller neighborhoods in bigger towns as staging areas for their agenda people tend to watch the riots on the tv screens, and the weather on the window screens.

"local networks"? "UHF networks"? Are you refering to individual TV stations?
 
Sorry, that was in fact what I meant. I had my split ends trimmed, so thank you for splitting that hair for me. I now look divine, but have one hair out of place.
