Baltimore Radio Wars January 1994

where these airchecks both taken during the slowjam shows ???

i remember in 1995 i was in the airport in Baltimore and V103-92QS hip-hop shows where going at it talking about each other i thought it was cool to hear a radio war going down and i said to myself i wish this would happen in philly

2 years later i got my wish as Radio-one signed on Philly 103.9 in 1997

I think both airchecks were regular programming, the V-103 aircheck sounds softer than 92Q it might have been the mid-day shift. I have several airchecks up of V-103 from 1991/92 lots of urban AC cuts during regular programming, mainstream urban was less hip hop-oriented in the early 90s.
