BANDSCAN FORMS

Couldn't sleep last night, so I took the liberty of posting the blank forms I (usually) use for bandscans to the network for anybody who wants them. Get them at http://mistman.pdp10.org/pub/scans/forms . Download and fill in with any text editor. Currently 9 and 10-kHz mediumwave and 200-kHz VHF are available. I plan to add a 100-kHz VHF form soon, for users living in areas that use such a bandplan.

To make certain the columns line up in the forms when you paste it here, add "pre" and "/pre" tags to the beginning and end of the form.

Bandscan Form Update

The "international" 100-kHz VHF/FM form has now been added to the site. Download and use as-is or trim as needed to obtain the appropriate bandplan for your area (covers 65.8-74.0 MHz and 76.0-108.1 MHz inclusively.)

I like those forms. Maybe when I go to Cannon Beach/Manzanita this summer [as well as Tahuya, WA on the Hood Canal and a possible trip around Central WA] I'll use those for FM scans when I get back.

For what it's worth, I just added an OIRT band form (65.8-74.0 MHz, used on a limited basis in former Soviet countries) and trimmed out the corresponding band from the 100-kHz form, since OIRT actually uses 10-kHz spacing. Located in /forms/oirt.txt.

How many time the FCC had a chance to expand the FM band to 76 Mhz, but they didn't

Now look the FM band is now packed..They are worried about taken more DTV station onUHF for broadband and giving VHF-low to LPTV on Digital,
