From The News Today, Dakha, Bangladesh:

CEC reluctant to quit

The council of advisors of caretaker government in its first weekly meeting Monday will consider alternative options for reforming the Election Commission as CEC Justice MA Aziz is determined to hold on to his office, reports UNB.
"We will consider alternative options," Finance Adviser Dr Akbar Ali Khan told reporters at his office Sunday about the next step of the interim government to recast the Election Commission-a strong demand from a major political camp and some civil-society groups.
Asked if the government could appoint more election commissioners to bring about a balance, he would neither admit nor reject the option. "We will consider it in the Council of Advisors meeting tomorrow".
Khan said different quarters, including the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), came up with various suggestions and the Caretaker Government would take those into consideration in today''s meeting.

Speaking of oddities...did ya catch Err America's Mike Nuke'em as a political commentator on Mc12 last night? In spite of his self prescribing tendencies, Nurse Jeff and I found him a lot more alert and interesting than former KFWhyEyer Grant Woods. The Woodie looked and sounded as tired as Pat McBland. And then there were the giggle sisters on 3TV...YIKES

Grant Woods is scum.

Never, ever trust that man.

Why they use him when the scene passed him by a few years ago is beyond me. (but same could be said for McBland)

Ooooo...super kid aint gonna like you no more, Legend City! The Nurse and I thought Grant looked a lot like Grandpa on the Simpsons. Time and the green room have not been kind...Generally Speaking!
