Yes. I've been filling in since X-mas. Barb's permanent replacement will be on-the-air soon, but don't have an exact date. I know who it is, but can't say. Let's just say the Ticket's new traffic reporter is a young lady.

For the record, let me say this.....doing traffic for the Musers and the Hardline has been a hoot. These guys are genuinely funny and entertaining.

Did they fire her or did she quit?

There again, I know the answer to that question, but it is not for me to say. However, it should be pretty obvious. In this day and age, no one quits an on-air gig, unless they win the lottery. (Which, BTW, I plan on doing Saturday night. Drinks are on me next week just as soon as I get back from Austin with the $$$$$)

Thanks for the info, Jason. As usual, you prove yourself to be an absolute professional and am glad you've had fun lately with the Ticket. Now if we can only get someone to snatch you up permanently!

And for the record, I like Barb- personally and professionally- so I hope she lands on her feet somewhere soon where she's appreciated.

If half of what the Ticket on-air staff talked about was true, it was probably easy to "build he file" needed to fire her.

Missing reports, having your cell phone ring in the middle of a report, etc...Their portrayl of her (possibly unfair of course) was that she was extremely unprofesional.

Uh...so much for celebrating my lottery victory tonight. Of the six numbers drawn, I only needed five more correct ones and I would have won!!!
