Barix question

We usually look at RF filtering when we bring an ISP into a high RF environment. It would be part of the "What the Heck" trouble shooting to look at stuff like that. Usually that means the power in, internet connection and output (analog or digital.)

Before it gets into the building you don't have alot of control of that. That's where developing the right communication skills to talk to and describe your issues to a provider comes into play. It's really easy to lose your mind when talking to service tech on the phone or in person.

Bill has the knowledge to work on a problem like this as well as several "phone a friends" with excellent knowledge. When he says that putting in a Barix fixed the issue. I know he has taken effort to rule things out. I would be curios if swapping in a BrickLinkII would have fixed the issue.

I have never used a BrickLinkIII we don't have one yet where I work. But if we get one you know where I'm going to test it at.

As far as making something RF hardened I use good grounding and Ferrite Beads. Sometimes you need to do some bypass filtering but that's part of the trouble shooting.

Have used a BricklinkII at a 50 kw AM also. No RF problem.
Issue was with the WISP as the Burk Arc+Touch was also dropping off the network.
