Barix remote configuration help

I saw this mentioned in the manual and it's also a setting in the web interface, but I cannot figure out exactly how it works. Basically all I want to do is have a basic config file located on my website that would have the feed URL so we can change it if needed. It probably wouldn't hurt to have a few other default settings fixed in there too. Can you just make one with the stream URL in it only?
